16th Annual Street Furniture Competition

MADE's 16th Annual Street Furniture Competition will be held on Saturday, June 24th, 2017 at Churchill Square, during The Works. Teams of 2-4 are given 6 hours of building time, during which they compete to design and build a piece of furniture from the materials provided. A panel of local architects and designers will judge the final pieces, and award prizes. Space is limited, so register now!

This year's theme is dialogue. According to the Project for Public Spaces

 More than ever before, public artworks are stimulating and inviting active dialogue rather than just passive observation, thereby fostering social interaction that can even lead to a sense of social cohesion among the viewers themselves.”
