Architectural Photo Competition Accepting Entries

The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC – Alberta Chapter) is holding its first annual architectural photo competition. The competition aims to reveal the hidden beauty of Alberta architecture and its role in sustaining Canada’s most westerly prairie province as a world-class travel destination.

Deadline to enter: Thursday, February 27th 2014.

Photographers of all backgrounds are encouraged to enter. Winners will be announced in Edmonton in spring of 2014 and a presentation gala is planned for summer of 2014.

Winning entrants receive,

  • cash prizes, memorabilia and certificates
  • a chance to have their submission published into a book of post cards (exclusively for the RAIC) for sale and mass distribution
  • a chance to to have their submission curated for travelling exhibitions across Canada, including the prestigious Festival of Architecture (in Winnipeg 2014 and Calgary 2015) and at select international events
